The College has this week started the process to recruit its next Provost, who will succeed current Provost Moira Wallace when she reaches the end of her term in August 2018.

The search for Oriel’s next Provost will be overseen by a committee chaired by the Vice Provost, Professor David Hodgson. The College has retained Saxton Bampfylde to assist in the recruitment.

Of her time at Oriel so far, Moira said: "It has been a privilege to serve as Oriel's Provost at a time when the College is enjoying great academic success, high levels of student satisfaction, and rising applications. This is an exciting time for the College as it builds on strong foundations and prepares to celebrate its 700th anniversary in 2026.”

The deadline for applications for the role is Monday 1st May, and further information on how to apply is available from Saxton Bampfylde.
