Keeping in touch
The Development Office is responsible for maintaining a comprehensive database of all Orielenses. If you are moving or due to move, do make sure that you let us know so that we can amend your record. You can use the Update Form within this section of the website.
Online Alumni Community
We launched the Alumni Community in mid 2005 to provide Orielenses with an online directory where you can update your details and search for other alumni. So far hundreds of members have registered for this service. Visit the website www.orielensis.net to join today.
Contacting other Orielenses
We are also here to help put you in touch with fellow Orielenses and, whilst data protection laws prevent us from giving out personal details, we are always happy to forward on messages.
Missing Alumni
We are very grateful to those who respond to our request for information on our members of unknown address listed in the Oriel Record each year. Even with this help we still are missing information for more than 850 Orielenses. Have a look at our list of lost alumni: we hope you will recognise some names.
Gaudies
We hope that you will have the chance to return to Oriel whenever you can. Our recently revised program of Gaudies now means that you will receive an invitation every seven years. Whilst we try and give as much notice as possible of exact dates, if you want to know in which year you can expect to be invited, do let us know.
Visiting the College
Of course, you are welcome to visit the College at any time and do let us know if you are planning to be in Oxford. As an Orielensis you are welcome to eat in Hall, for a modest charge, and there are a limited number of guest rooms available for your use. These can be booked through the Porters’ Lodge lodge@oriel.ox.ac.uk, tel: 01865 276555
Oriel Society
The Oriel Society organises a variety of activities and trips throughout the year which are included in the list on the events page. Contact the Development Office to get further information on any of these events.
