Oxford African History Celebration 2016: Between the World and Me

As part of the Oxford African History Celebration 2016, in association with Oxford Brookes University Students' Union, Oriel and Linacre Colleges, and the East Oxford Community Association, a series of events will be hosted at Oriel throughout Black History Month this year. 

On Sunday 16th October, a student-led event will take place in the Harris Lecture Theatre. The title of the session will be 'Between the World and Me', and it will feature discussion of the Ta-Nehisi Coates book about the realities and dangers of living in an African skin and facing racism today.

The event is free to attend and will invite participant discussion.
