As Trinity Term marches on and stress levels rise, we hope that spirits will be lifted by the arrival of some canine visitors in College on Thursday 18th May.

Members of Oriel staff have volunteered to bring in their dogs for the day to provide stress-relief for finalists and other members of College. Organised by JCR Welfare Officer Tess Leyland in co-ordination with Domestic Bursar Kevin Melbourne (proud owner of 13-week old Alfie the Cesky Terrier), visits will take place throughout the day.

Four-legged visitors will include:

  • Alfie the 13-week old Cesky Terrier puppy
  • Slinky the Dachshund
  • Milly and Etty the Bouviers des Flandres

Tess will organise individual visits with the dogs for Finalists in the morning, and after 2pm will arrange some group interactions either in Third Quad or the JCR Annex (weather dependent). All members of College will be welcome to come along to meet the dogs, and please contact Tess if you would like to book a one-on-one session.
