Student Support Administrator
Salary £21,500-£26,800 depending on experience
Oriel College is a friendly and attractive College, located in the heart of Oxford. The Student Support Administrator is responsible for key areas of academic administration including tasks relating to the examination process, compiling timetables and distributing exam papers, managing internal communications, supporting the welfare team and accurately maintaining the student and reporting systems.
This is a varied role that requires an extremely high level of attention to detail. Excellent administration skills are essential and a background within university or academic administration would be desirable. The post-holder will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a high standard of discretion and will be able to work effectively in a small and friendly team. Good IT skills along with the ability to use databases in particular Microsoft Access are crucial to the role along with the ability to prioritise work effectively to meet tight deadlines.
