We warmly invite you all to join us at the second Oriel Talks of Hilary Term 2019 on Tuesday 26th February in the Harris Lecture Theatre. The theme of the event, which is open to members of Oriel across all common rooms, is 'Uncharted Territory'.

The three speakers for this Oriel Talks will be:

Sugandha Srivastav (MCR): How Will Climate Change Shape our Society and Economy?

Eleanor Thomson (MCR): Drones Above the Jungle: Mapping Tropical Forest Carbon Absorption and Discovering Mayan Pyramids

Marie Kawthar Daouda (SCR): Baudelaire and Wilde’s Desperate Prayer – Despair, Adoration, and All the Lovely Things in Between
