Oriel College is hosting a Classics & English Taster Day (in collaboration with the English and Classics Faculties) for Year 12 students from UK state schools on Thursday 13th June. The event is free to attend and involves a full, one-day programme of events to acquaint prospective students with this joint honours degree course.
The programme will run from 10am-4pm on Thursday 13th June, and will be hosted at Oriel College (OX1 4EW) and the Faculty of Classics (Ioannou Centre, OX1 3LU). The Taster Day is free to attend, and lunch is included. Students are expected to make their own travel arrangements, but those who feel that travel expenses are likely to hinder their ability to attend the event are encouraged to enquire with the Oriel College Outreach Officer (firstname.lastname@example.org) about financial support. Please note that as this event is held during the University term, no accommodation is available.
