Meals are provided by the college chef and his staff and are served in the traditional Oxford college Hall which has a capacity of 140 people.
Our other dining room, the Champneys Room can also be used for dining for up to 56 people.

The College's historic Dining Hall is situated in Front Quad. High Table can be arranged for up to 20 people. In the Summer, pre-dinner drinks can be held in Second Quad or on the Roof Terrace. In wet weather, drinks can be held in the Champneys Room or Benefactors Room. The Dining Hall has an Induction Hearing Loop.
The Champneys Room is the College's VIP dining room. It works equally well for drinks receptions as for private dinners. Availability is year-round.

The Box is an intimate dining space that boasts character. As either a dining or reception space it suits well to smaller banquets.

The Benefactors Room works well as both an intimate dining space or small drinks reception area.

The Oriel College Bar is available to hire as part of your banquet dinner or residential conference. Recently refurbished, it offers a great place to gather and socialise after dinner or after a full day of events.

Second Quad is a large space for drinks receptions. Overlooked by the beautiful Senior Library, you are never far away from historical memories. As Oriel is in the heart of the City Centre it makes it an ideal place for a celebration.

The Roof Terrace is a lovely outside space for smaller receptions or pre-dinner drinks.
