I am in the final stage of a DPhil in Asian and Middle Eastern Studies at the University of Oxford. I previously completed an MPhil in Theology at Oxford, and a BA in Classical Hebrew and Biblical Studies at the University of Sydney.
My primary research interests include the Aramaic literature discovered at Qumran and Early Interpretation and Rewriting of Genesis, with a particular focus on the compositional development and redaction of the Book of the Watchers, Jubilees, Genesis Apocryphon and the other Enochic literature.
My other interests include Ge’ez codicology and philology, the Reception History of the Enochic literature/Watcher myth, the transmission of Second Temple period literature in Christian contexts in Late Antiquity, and the development of Apocalypticism, Angelology and Eschatology in the Second Temple period.
