Alexander Roberts

BA, BPhil, DPhil

I am a Junior Research Fellow in Philosophy at Oriel and a Leverhulme Early Career Fellow at the Faculty of Philosophy.

In 2019, I completed my DPhil at the University of Oxford under the supervision of Timothy Williamson and James Studd. Afterwards, I spent a year as a lecturer at the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Cambridge.

I also hold a BPhil in Philosophy from the University of Oxford and a BA in Philosophy from the University of Leeds.

Research Interests

My main research interests are in metaphysics and philosophical logic. I am also interested in the philosophy of language and the history of analytic philosophy.
