Alex Homer is a DPhil student in Statistics at Wolfson College, Oxford.

He previously studied at Oriel, obtaining an undergraduate master’s degree in Mathematics and Statistics, and being awarded the Department of Statistics Prize in his third year and (jointly) the Gibbs Prize in his final year.

Research interests

Alex is in the Probability group of the Department of Statistics, supervised by Prof. Christina Goldschmidt. He specialises in probabilistic combinatorics, and is currently looking at random planar graphs and maps.
