Mr Jonny McIntosh
Jonny McIntosh read Maths and Philosophy at Somerville College and, after a period working outside academia, pursued graduate work in Philosophy at Birkbeck and UCL, where he is completing his PhD.
He has taught at various colleges in Oxford, and also holds positions at Balliol and St. Edmund Hall.
Jonny has teaching interests in logic and the philosophies of language and mind, as well as the history of philosophy and ethics.
Jonny’s research concerns foundational issues at the intersection of the philosophy of language, formal semantics, and the philosophy of action, as well as related issues in the metaphysics of time and modality.
