I completed my bachelor’s degree in Materials and Metallurgical Engineering at the Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology in Indonesia in March 2014. I then graduated with a double master’s degree in Materials and Metallurgical Engineering from the Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology in Indonesia and in Materials Science and Engineering from the National Taiwan University of Science and Technology in July 2015. I am a DPhil candidate in Materials at the University of Oxford, based at Oriel College.
I am a DPhil candidate in Materials and I am working on the biomaterials group to handle a project about self-inflating tissue expander by using hydrogel, supervised by Jan Czernuszka. This field of study has drawn great interest for generating new tissue in plastic and reconstructive surgeries. Additionally, this area is opening a new method for the treatment of congenital defects or diseases that require soft tissue expansion.
