  • Oriel Talks: Make or Break

The second Oriel Talks of Michaelmas Term, on the theme of “Make or Break”, will take place on Tuesday of 7th week, the 22nd of November. Booking for College members is now open!

In an age of ever advancing computing, how do we make sure we are keeping up? By turning to quantum computers…but how easy is that in reality? Can we believe something at will, and is something true simply if we believe it? What do we do when the things we make, start to break?!? Have no fear…the engineers are here. Three interesting questions, three great talks. Come along to find out more!

Speakers will include MCR members Keshav Thirumalai and Nathan Helms, and Engineering Fellow Dr John Huber will give the Key Note. Attendees can choose to book either a dining or non-dining ticket.
