Professor Hindy Najman Wins ‘Status of Women in the Profession Mentor Award’
Orion Research Scholarships Awarded to Two Oriel DPhil Students

Congratulations to two of our DPhil students, Annie Calderbank (pictured right) and Sarah Wisialowski (pictured left), for being awarded Orion Center Research Scholarships.
After finding out about the award, Sarah said she was:
“very excited to be a part of the Hebrew University community, and to use this opportunity to think deeply about temporality in the Hellenistic period.”
Annie shared:
“I am delighted to be awarded this scholarship and look forward to learning from the scholarly community at Orion.”
We have no doubt this will be productive for their doctoral work and subsequently their future careers.
