Salary: circa £33,900
We require an experienced, enthusiastic and talented Sous Chef to support our Head Chef and kitchen team. The kitchen caters for students, functions and formal events, conference guests and staff. The successful jobholder will work 40 hours per week, 5 days out of 7 on a rota basis working on predominantly straight shifts. Candidates will possess a background within high volume, fresh food catering combined with experience of working in a 2-rosette kitchen, bringing flair and creativity to the role. Experience of computerised ordering, H&S and trained to NVQ Level 3. Excellent communication skills, a clean, tidy appearance and a proven track record in a similar role are essential.
