library assistant (job share)
c£20k per annum (full time equivalent), 9 hours per week, term time only.
Fixed term post for a period of six months, with the possibility for extension.
We require a self-motivated and committed individual to work as part of a small team in order to perform all the administrative and bibliographical tasks involved in running a busy academic library.
Candidates should possess excellent communication skills, be able to carry out detailed instructions accurately and work well without supervision. Preference will be given to candidates who have either a professional qualification in library and information studies, or proven experience of working at a professional level, preferably in an academic library. Experience of cataloguing on Aleph is essential.
Hours of work will be 3 per day on 3 days of the week.

Editor for the registrum
(8.25 per hour), maximum 20 hours per week
We require an Editor to work on the Registrum of Oriel College. The Registrum is currently held on a database supported by ZoHo, it contains details on students that matriculated from 1900-2000. The successful candidate will be required to input data received from College Alumni who collect data for the Registrum.
Candidates should have a proven track record of working within administration and have experience of using databases and Microsoft Office. Preference will be given to candidates who have these skills. This role may suit a graduate in the Humanities division.
This role is fixed term until 30th September 2016.

CASUAL FOOD SERVICES ASSISTANTs
