What's your idea?
Got a great business idea that you’d like to pitch? Oriel College is participating in the inaugural All-Innovate Idea Competition, which takes place this January and February.
Organised by The Oxford Foundry, the competition invites students from all disciplines to pitch their best entrepreneurial idea for the chance to win a grand prize of £10,000 and two runner-up prizes of £5,000 each.
How to Enter
Applications will be open between 23 January and 17 February. Students must enter as a team of two to five members. A link will be provided on 23 January for participants to submit their entries online.
If you would like guidance on how best to develop your idea, The Oxford Foundry offers a series of free workshops designed to help with early stage idea development and to build on your business skills.
You can find details of the workshops and sign-up links here.
Following the deadline, Oriel College will shortlist two applications to submit to The Oxford Foundry, who will then select 20 teams from all entries to attend a one-day boot camp on 23 February. During this, all teams will pitch to a panel of judges and receive constructive feedback and advice. From this event, ten teams will be selected to pitch at the final All-Innovate competition on 28 February. The three winning teams will be invited to attend a five-day boot camp in June, where they will receive valuable guidance on how to move their business forward.
