Oriel Environment Group —  Redefining Energy: Live Podcast Recording

Is the global energy transition losing momentum — or simply being rewritten by politics?

We are thrilled to be hosting a live recording of Redefining Energy, one of the world’s top three energy podcasts, on Wednesday, 25 February at 4pm. A drinks reception will follow the session at 5pm.

Co-hosts of Redefining Energy, Gerard Reid and Laurent Segalen will be joined by Professor Jan Rosenow, a leading authority on energy policy and regulation. Together, they will challenge prevailing narratives and explore how technology, finance, markets, and policy interact in today’s rapidly changing energy landscape.

At a time when governments are re-prioritising energy security, revisiting climate commitments, and reshaping industrial policy, this discussion will examine how political decisions are redefining the global energy system.

This interactive event gives the audience the opportunity to ask direct questions and engage critically with some of the most contested issues in energy today — climate and energy policy, geopolitics, innovation, and careers in the sector.

Question the politics. Challenge the assumptions. Join the conversation.
