Oriel Environmental Group Michaelmas 2023 Lecture – Hugo Spowers MBE

The Oriel Environmental Group’s Michaelmas talk, will be given by Orielensis Hugo Spowers MBE (1978), Chief Engineer and Founder of Riversimple. The talk will take place in the Harris Lecture Theatre at Oriel on Thursday, 16 November from 5.45pm – 6.45pm.

Hugo will tell us more about his work at Riversimple which is pioneering the next generation of zero emission vehicles and, as importantly, the strategies for bringing them to market. Riversimple is adopting an entirely circular ‘usership’ model which aligns the interests of business with the needs of society, ensuring that efficiency and sustainability are profitable. There will also be the opportunity to view a Riversimple car displayed at Oriel after the talk.

The event is free to attend, and everyone is welcome. Please use the form below to book your place.
