To Celebrate our 700 year history, we’re bringing together Oriel’s wider community for a day of thought-provoking conversation and the chance to explore the College’s hidden treasures, including our Magna Carta!
On Saturday 2 May, experience the first of our Inspiration Days, a varied programme of talks and activities, lead by Oriel’s research fellows and academics around the theme Being Human.
Talks are designed to be engaging for anyone of secondary-school age and above, making it a great opportunity to bring family members considering Oxbridge — or simply anyone curious about the ideas shaping our future.
Across two lively sessions, Oriel’s academics will unpack their research through short accessible talks and discussion. Expect ideas ranging from how to age well and the future of biotechnology, to consciousness, creativity, and the modern crisis of attention.
