Twelfth Night – Oriel Garden Play 2024

Twelfth Night is a play of assumed and then mistaken identities, a comedy following the romantic escapades of a group of nobles and their attendants in Illyria. Viola, separated from her brother by shipwreck, enters into the service of a handsome Duke, Orsino, who seeks the love of Olivia, a fair Countess. Yet Olivia slowly finds herself enraptured by the Duke’s new young servant… In the meantime, shenanigans ensue in Olivia’s household, as poor Malvolia pines after her mistress. Whose love will succeed and blossom like the roses of Olivia’s garden, and whose will be snipped at the bud?

The fantastic cast of Oriel College’s 2024 Garden Play will delight and amuse with an Old Money Macabre inspired performance of Shakespeare’s timeless comedy, Twelfth Night! The performance will start promptly at 7:30pm. Wear your best yellow tights…
