We are pleased to announce that Oriel College is participating in the annual All-Innovate idea competition, run by the Entrepreneurship Centre in collaboration with all Oxford colleges.
Do you have an idea that you think could improve society in some way? Have you been wondering whether to pursue it but feel unsure on the next steps? We are excited to let you know that there is another £30,000 of grant funding to be won through the Entrepreneurship Centre’s All-Innovate competition in Michaelmas Term 2022. Applications open on Monday, 19th September and close on Sunday, 6th November.
As a partnering college, all undergraduates, postgraduates and DPhils from any department of the University of Oxford are invited to apply with an entrepreneurial idea or venture for a chance to win from the £30,000 prize funding pot, as well as follow-on support to help turn your idea intro reality or build-up your existing venture. The competition is accompanied by a specialised workshop series with experienced mentors to help you build new skills and enhance your careers. You can find further information about the competition and the supporting workshop series on the EC website.
For 2022, All-Innovate will be in-person. Information will be available from Trinity term. Prizes will be awarded to the strongest ideas that are addressing real challenges and can achieve impact. The competition aims to encourage all students at Oxford, regardless of discipline or level of study, to develop an entrepreneurial skill set and generate entrepreneurial ideas. This year, applicants will be offered a place on workshops designed to support them in developing their ideas. Our expert judges will shortlist the top two applications from each college. These teams will be invited to a selection round in which they will pitch their ideas and from this point, the remaining 10 teams will then go on to pitch at the All-Innovate final. The Entrepreneurship Centre will also be offering further support and guidance to the winners, post-programme.
We encourage you to connect with the Entrepreneurial Centre on LinkedIn and Twitter for additional resources. If you have any questions about the competition, please contact the Entrepreneurship Centre directly on: entrepreneurship@sbs.ox.ac.uk
