Dr Dominic Alonzi, Dr Olivia Elder and Dr Bernadette Young have been inducted as Fellows of Oriel College
Three academics have been formally inducted as Fellows of Oriel College.
They are Dr Dominic Alonzi, Dr Olivia Elder and Dr Bernadette Young.
● Alonzi has lectured on Biochemistry, Biomedical Science and Medicine at Oriel College since 2021 and is to remain Fellow in Biochemistry for a fixed duration.
● Elder, an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Classics with a particular interest in multilingualism, migration, citizenship and slavery in the Roman world, has been inducted as Fellow in Ancient History.
● A consultant in Infection at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and an Honorary Researcher at the Nuffield Department of Medicine, Young has been inducted as Fellow in Clinical Medicine.
Lord Mendoza CBE, Provost, led the Service of Induction with Fellow and Director of Development Marco Zhang introducing the inductees.
The Service was held in the Chapel.
