Professor William Wood and Professor Mungo Wilson have each been conferred the title of full professor in the University of Oxford’s 2024 Recognition of Distinction exercise.
Wood is the Clifford Potter Fellow in Theology at Oriel College. His research interests include questions about the relationship between philosophy and theology, as well as the place of theology in the modern research university. For the past four years, Wood has also been the chair of the University’s Theology and Religion Faculty Board.
Wilson is the College’s Fellow in Financial Economics. His research looks at asset pricing and has a specific focus on the effect of risk.
The Provost, Lord Mendoza CBE, acknowledged the outstanding contributions of Wood and Wilson to teaching and research at the University and congratulated them on their recognition.
