PhD
Irina is Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science.
She holds a PhD in 3D geometric modelling from the University of Bath. She is actively teaching both in the department and the college, and has been the recipient of several teaching awards.
Irina leads a Medical Imaging research group, whose main focus is building algorithms that exploit and assess geometric features in 3D data. The majority of her work makes use of data from medical scans (CT, MRI), seeking to extract measurements that are of clinical interest.
