Fabian is a DPhil student at the Department of Statistics and a Graduate Teaching and Research Scholar in Computer Science at Oriel College.
He holds an MSc in Computer Science from Imperial College London and a MSc and BSc in Industrial Engineering from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology.
Before his appointment at Oriel, Fabian has been a tutor of computer science and statistics courses at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology and in a robotics course at Imperial College London.
Fabian’s research interest lies in probabilistic deep learning, particularly for topics in unsupervised learning including clustering and generative modelling, and causal inference, and its applications in health.
