I joined Oriel in 2024 as the inaugural Director of International Programmes & Partnerships.
In this role, I am responsible for leading the College’s extramural academic programmes that welcome students from around the world, including the Visiting Student Programme and the Oxford Summer Institute. My work focuses on building and nurturing strategic partnerships, particularly with international universities, and collaborating with the College’s Fellows to ensure that the programmes we deliver are truly world-class learning experiences.
I have a professional background in higher education, particularly within collegiate universities. Prior to moving to Oxford, I served as the Vice Principal (Locum) of St John’s College within the University of Durham. Previously, I held similar roles within independent colleges at the University of Otago in Dunedin, New Zealand, including as the Deputy Head of Knox College and the Dean of Students of St Margaret’s College.
Outside of higher education, I have experience as an organisational development consultant and executive coach, and have held not-for-profit directorships at a local, national, and international level. I hold a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and first class Bachelor of Science (Honours), both from the University of Otago.
