Dr Tishan Wellalagodage obtained his medical degree in 2017 from Monash University, Melbourne. He then obtained his Masters of Medicine in Critical Care Medicine from the University of Sydney in 2021. His work in this course was recognised by St Paul’s Graduate House with the Amy Louise Hart Scholarship. Subsequently, he worked in New South Wales as a doctor specialising in critical care medicine before commencing his DPhil in Medicine in the Hilary term of 2022.
In addition to his positions at Oriel, Dr Wellalagodage works as an Anaesthetic Registrar and Departmental Tutor in Medicine.
Dr Wellalagodage’s research interests revolve around improved investigative techniques relating to the circulation and lungs for patients in cardiac intensive care.
