Charis Jo’s DPhil project analyzes Augustine’s philosophy of dialectic, with special focus on the fragment de dialectica.
Her other research interests include: the evolution of the Latin concept of verbum; later Latin; the history of the liberal arts; and ancient, medieval, and Renaissance philosophy of language. I am currently writing the entires for reviresco and revireo for the Thesaurus Linguae Latinae.
