As in previous years, competition for places was extremely strong. Many applicants submitted impressive applications, demonstrated genuine enthusiasm for their subject, and were predicted excellent grades. Tutors faced difficult decisions in both shortlisting and making offers, and each year we turn away a large number of highly capable candidates.
Oriel College does not provide personalised written feedback from tutors. However, subject-specific feedback, admissions test scores, and, if applicable, written work and interview scores can be found below. If you submitted a feedback request via the form by the 15th February, you will receive an email with your scores. Please note that it is not possible to have your work re-marked.
Tutors assess applications holistically, taking all aspects of an applicant’s profile into account. For example, a high admissions test score may be offset by a weaker personal statement or academic qualifications.
