Mr Sebastian Lewis

Sebastian teaches Jurisprudence, Constitutional Law and Administrative Law. He has previously taught at St Hilda’s College, Regent’s Park College, Merton College, and Corpus Christi College, Oxford. Sebastian has also been a Visiting Lecturer at King’s College London, a Guest Teaching Assistant at the LSE, and has held other teaching positions outside the UK.

Sebastian is currently finishing his DPhil in Law at Oxford. He is a qualified lawyer in Chile and holds an LLM at Harvard Law School, where he worked in the Harvard International Law Journal and the Harvard Journal of Law & Public Policy. He has been a visiting researcher at King’s College London and the Max Planck Institute for the Study of Crime, Security and Law (Freiburg, Germany).

Sebastian’s talks and presentations include participations in discussions groups at Oxford, Cambridge, UCL, Edinburgh, Maastricht, MPI, and conferences organised by institutions such as the Supreme Court of Mexico.

Research Interests

Sebastian’s research interests include Jurisprudence, Public Law, Comparative Public Law, and EU Law.
