Salary: £33,208 per annum
Hours of work: 40 hours per week
We require a Carpenter/Joiner to join the College’s Maintenance team. The job-holder will carry out routine maintenance and improvements to all College property as directed by the Building Maintenance Manager. Duties will include various repairs and renewals, ordering materials and purchasing of replacement carpentry stock. Duties will also include non-carpentry tasks when necessary.
The role will involve working at high levels from time to time so use of ladders and tower scaffolding would be required as well as driving the College van between the sites to collect materials.
Applicants should be able to present a positive and helpful attitude, excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a team. A full, clean driving license along with a recognised trade qualification i.e. City & Guilds Certification is essential.
