HR Officer

Salary: £30,145 – £36,337 (upper band 5)

Hours of work: (full-time, 36.5 hours p/w)

The successful candidate will provide HR administrative support and generalist HR advice relating to all aspects of the employee life cycle for staff. In addition you will be responsible for the administration of the monthly payroll.

Working with managers and colleagues across the college, you will be providing a high level of support and guidance. A high level of organisation together with attention to detail is important as is the ability to work effectively within a small and busy team.

Candidates should have a minimum of 2 – 3 year’s previous HR experience, ideally within an academic environment. You should also hold a CIPD qualification.

The hours of work are 36.5 per week to be worked over 5 days.

Location and Hybrid Working

Oriel College is located in central Oxford and we offer hybrid working.
