Applications are now open for Oriel's free Year 12 Study Days in Physics, English and Classics.
Oriel will be hosting three subject-focused Study Days for Year 12 students in August. A Study Day is a one-night residential opportunity hosted at Oriel, which gives 40 state school students the opportunity to experience life and study at Oxford, and receive advice and guidance on the admissions process. Year 12 students from any UK state school or college are encouraged to apply.
Study Days are completely free of charge for attendees: rail travel from any UK station to Oxford will also be funded, alongside all accommodation, meals, and activities. The college welcomes applications from students from backgrounds or schools with limited history of progression to Oxbridge.
These opportunities follow a highly successful inaugural round of Study Days in 2016 and two well received events in April 2018, and are available thanks to a generous donation from an Orielensis.
Subjects available for Easter 2018 are:
- 28th-29th August: Physics
- 29th-30th August: English
- 30th-31st August: Classics
Applications should be received by 9am on Monday 23rd July.
