Research at Oriel

Alongside the delivery of world-class teaching, Oriel’s Fellows and academics are constantly challenging our understanding of the world around us through their innovative research.

From Medicine to Linguistics, from History to Philosophy, from Physics to Religion, the academic life of Oriel College is thriving. The research being undertaken by our Fellows has real-world impact, whether they are making new scientific discoveries or helping us to understand more about our history and how we live our lives.

To foster and develop this research, we have created a dedicated Research Fund to provide our Fellows with financial support for specific research projects. If you are inspired by the research of our academic members, please consider making a donation to our Research Fund.
